THE EARRING.
The earring and necklace have great emotional value for me. They were made by my husband who is still in Iran. Sadly I lost the accompanying earring during a scuffle with the border police at Edinburgh airport. I still wear the single earring because it reminds me of my beloved husband who I haven’t seen in two years. Waiting for the home office outcome on my status can make me sad. When I’m sad I touch the necklace and feel that he is with me.
